Plinth's calculators produce estimates for illustration only. They are not financial, mortgage, tax or legal advice, and using them does not create any advisory relationship. Before making a decision about a mortgage, property purchase, or tax liability, speak to an FCA-authorised mortgage adviser, a solicitor or licensed conveyancer, and/or a qualified accountant as appropriate.

Accuracy

We take reasonable care over the figures, bands and formulas used, but interest rates, lending criteria, and stamp duty/LBTT/LTT thresholds change — often with little notice, at Budgets or Monetary Policy Committee meetings. We don't guarantee that any figure shown is current, complete, or correct for your circumstances. Always verify tax figures with HMRC, Revenue Scotland, or the Welsh Revenue Authority, and mortgage figures with a lender or adviser, before relying on them.
