Privacy policy

Plinth is a set of mortgage and property-tax calculators. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it — in short: almost nothing leaves your browser.
What we don't collect
Every figure you type or drag into a Plinth calculator — property price, income, deposit, and so on — is used only to run the calculation in your own browser's JavaScript. None of it is sent to, or stored on, any server we operate. We don't have accounts, sign-ups, or a database of your inputs.
Cookies
Plinth does not currently set any cookies or use any analytics or advertising tools. If that changes in future (for example, to add basic visitor analytics), this policy will be updated first, and a cookie banner will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Hosting & technical logs
Plinth is hosted on third-party infrastructure (such as Vercel, Cloudflare Pages or GitHub). Like any website, the hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and operational purposes. We don't have access to personal data in these logs beyond what the host itself provides; see the relevant host's own privacy policy for details.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser making a request to Google's servers. Google's own privacy policy covers what it does with that request.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal data about you, most data-subject rights under UK GDPR (access, deletion, and so on) don't have anything to act on. If you have questions about this policy, get in touch using the contact details below.
